  1. 1. Just to the left, outside this design draft, what will be done with the remaining portion of Como Ave. and Beulah Lane both N and S? In response to Susan Jane’s question it was noted that Buelah to the N would be opened? Is the road to the tennis courts and back to Lexington a two way road?

    2. Will Jessamine be closed between Lexington and Beulah but not Beulah and Hamline?

    3. Am I correct in understanding that entering the parking area from Lexington the road passes the food, concession or change buildings (in red) and that there is additional parking along the road in front of the tennis courts? So children will be crossing the road to be picked up in cars? What is the traffice circle for?

    4. It would be great to see some historical design elements brought into this design in keeping with the old world charm that once was Como Park.

    5. Since it will take years for trees and vegetation that are planted to grow, will many existing trees will be preserved when implementing this plan? Is ther sunprotection (shade) for tennis court spectators?

  2. 1.Portions of Como and Beulah will be torn out (see photo here or watch Don’s video).

    2. Jassamine will be 2-way but will be accessed from Como, not Lexington (see photo via link above)

    3. Drop off spots in front of pool and concession and across from the tennis courts would not have any children crossing traffic. They exit north of the road. The turn around is for empty buses to exit.

    4. Your suggestions will be passed on. Thanks for commenting.

    5. Existing trees are being preserved. Shade is good and I will pass this suggestion on.
